SERMON PREVIEW: FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD
How old were you when you first heard John 3:16? “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.” It’s perhaps one of the most often-quoted verses from the New Testament — but too many people read it out of context. This Sunday, we will take a look at what Jesus meant in this scripture when he talked about eternal life and perishing, and what we need to take from the larger context of this passage. Rev. Diane will explore these questions and more in a sermon based on John 3: 14 – 21. See you Sunday, in person or online!

FEBRUARY SUMMARY: SOUPER BOWL OF CARING
During February, we participated in the Souper Bowl of Caring by collecting food that can be served in bowls (soup, cereal, oatmeal, grits, jello, pudding, mac and cheese, or anything else you can think of that goes in a bowl) for the Lawrenceville co-op. We collected 347 pounds of “bowl” items during February. Thanks for your continuing support of the Lawrenceville Co-op!

CONTINUED WEEKLY PRAYER FOR OUR CHURCH
As we continue our interim co-pastorate, we need all of our prayers to guide our church forward. You are encouraged to pause for a few minutes to pray for God’s guidance as we continue the work of discerning God’s path for our church and following God’s path on our collective journey of faith. For the next few months, we are designating Mondays at 6 pm as a weekly prayer time. You can pray wherever you are, in whatever way feels most comfortable for you. If you are not able to pause and pray Mondays at 6 pm, please set aside a different time to pray for LFCC.
