SERMON PREVIEW
Scripture: Proverbs 8:1-4; 22-31
Sermon Title: God’s Abiding Presence
From the dawn of creation, Wisdom has stood as a witness to the unfolding of God’s divine plan—a presence both steady and unshaken. In Proverbs 8, we hear her voice calling out, inviting all to seek understanding and discernment, revealing that she was with God from the beginning, shaping the heavens and the earth. On this Trinity Sunday, we reflect on Wisdom as an aspect of God’s presence, a personification of the Holy Spirit moving through time and space, guiding, teaching, and illuminating the path of truth. Her voice is not distant or reserved for the privileged; instead, she calls out to all, standing at the crossroads, urging us to embrace the sacred knowledge that draws us deeper into communion with the Divine. Wisdom, woven into the fabric of creation, is not simply a concept but a living, breathing testimony to God’s abiding presence in our lives. This Sunday, we gather to listen for Wisdom’s voice, celebrating the Holy Spirit’s presence among us. Join us on this sacred journey.See you Sunday, in person or online.

SENDING NOTES TO OUR CAMP ATTENDEES
We are lucky enough to have a large group of campers, counselors, directors, keynoters, storytellers, and other supporters attending Camp Christian this summer. You are invited to send notes of encouragement to our campers and camp staff. You will find a list of those going to camp, cards to send good wishes, and envelopes for each camp session in the gathering space. We will send cards for each session to camp with a director or counselor. Next week, we have a big group going to Junior Camp, Chrysalis Camp, and Genesis Camp. Please bring your cards for these campers and staff to worship on Sunday, or take a few minutes to write cards at the church.
Junior Camp – Counselor: Riley Ballew; Campers: Malachi Williams, Maggie Westbrook, and Martha Westbrook
Chrysalis Camp – Counselors: Elizabeth McElhanon, Theresa Puckett; CIT Mary Kate Westbrook, Camper Fitz Puckett
Genesis Camp – Directors: Marilyn Parks, Pam Van Dusen; Campers: Joey Baker, Micah Baker
Thank you for your ongoing support and words of encouragement – our campers and staff really appreciate them!

CAMP CHRISTIAN NEEDS CHARCOAL
Camp Christian needs 3 small bags of charcoal to use for cookouts at camp over the next few weeks. If you would like to donate a bag, please let Marilyn Parks or Rev. Diane know before you purchase it (so we can be sure we don’t get too many bags). We would love to receive the charcoal this Sunday, so Marilyn can take it to camp with her that afternoon.

HELP INSTALL THE FAMILY PROMISE PLAYGROUND!
Family Promise has purchased a Treasure Trove wooden playground set with some grant funds – and they need help installing it. Installation is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, starting at 9 am. Several LFCC members have volunteered to help out, but we can always use a few more hands. If you have experience installing a similar set, if you’re willing to read instructions, and/or if you’re able to offer some muscle and follow directions, we need you! Please talk to Rod Baker if you’re available that day.
