FIFTH SUNDAY PREVIEW
Scripture: Luke 19:11-27
Sermon Title: Let Us Be the Faithful

This Sunday is a fifth Sunday, when we explore new things in worship. Rev. Peter Yoon will preach this Sunday, and he and his family will provide the worship music. You won’t want to miss this special service! See you Sunday, in person or online.

YOU ARE INVITED TO A WEDDING SHOWER
You are invited to help us celebrate the upcoming marriage of Annie Ballew to Gabe Heiderscheit. The shower will be on Sunday, July 20, 12:00-2:00 in the church fellowship hall. Everyone is invited! Annie and Gabe are registered at Amazon.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: CALLED REGIONAL ASSEMBLY
There will be a special called Regional Assembly on Saturday, July 26 at 1 pm in Maccon. The purpose is to meet the candidate for Regional Minister and to vote on this person. The candidate has been unanimously approved by the Regional Board. Please plan to attend to be a part of this important moment for our region!

SENDING NOTES TO OUR CAMP ATTENDEES
We are lucky enough to have a large group of campers, counselors, directors, keynoters, storytellers, and other supporters attending Camp Christian this summer. You are invited to send notes of encouragement to our campers and camp staff. You will find a list of those going to camp, cards to send good wishes, and envelopes for each camp session in the gathering space. We will send cards for each session to camp with a director or counselor. The last camp is Oasis Day Camp, which is July 14 – 18. Please bring your notes for our CITs Molly Ballew and Makayla Davis to church by Sunday, July 13. Thank you for your ongoing support and words of encouragement – our campers and staff really appreciate them!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR AN ICE CREAM SOCIAL

Mark your calendar for the Disciples Women’s Ice Cream Social/Blanket Sunday on August 17. We will have a light lunch with finger foods and homemade ice cream after church. Donations will be accepted for the Church World Service Blanket and Emergency Assistance in the United States and around the world.

The next Disciples Women meeting will be on July 8 at 1:00 p.m. in the Conference Room.
