MORTGAGE BURNING AND CAPITAL CAMPAIGN KICK-OFF THIS SUNDAY!
This Sunday, March 9, we have a big celebration planned. We will celebrate paying off our building mortgage with a special mortgage burning during morning worship. We will look back at all we have accomplished as a congregation and look forward to our next steps in ministry now that our mortgage is paid in full. All of the former ministers of the church have been invited to attend or send thoughts to the church. We will also kick off our next Capital Campaign, to improve our indoor and outdoor space. After worship, we will continue our celebration with a covered-dish dinner. Everyone is invited; we hope you will plan to be with us!
Important note: Sunday, March 9 is also the beginning of Daylight Saving Time. Don’t forget to spring forward so you don’t miss the big celebration.

SERMON PREVIEW: BUILDING
Sermon Title: Building on the Foundation
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 23: 9-13, 16-17
In his first letter to the new Christian community in Corinth, Paul taught the community about the importance of building their faith, and their life as a community, on the foundation of Jesus Christ. He reminded them that they were building on foundations established by others. This Sunday, we will explore the foundations of our own church community, and consider how we can build on what others have done before us. See you Sunday, in person or online.

VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS NEEDED FOR TEACHER BREAKFAST
On Friday, March 14, LFCC will serve breakfast to the staff of Central Gwinnett High School. The Outreach team needs help in two ways:
- If you would like to donate toward the cost of the breakfast, please give any donations to Rod Baker
- If you are an early riser and want to help set up, serve, and clean up on March 14, please let Rod Baker or Beth Thompson know
Thanks for your help as we show some appreciation for our hard-working teachers and high school staff.
